This is also one of the most visited areas of Annapurna trail because of easy climb up route for beginner trekkers and well managed eco tea house loges facilities for food and accommodation. Which is also suitable for those who have limited time but dreaming for glimpse of snow caped mountain peaks and still want a real Himalayan cultural experience. This trek can be done throughout the year except monsoon season mid June to mid September and its easy trail begins from Nayapul (1070m) up to Ghorepani (2750m). Along the trail you will be enjoying fascinating traditional Gurung villages and their culture passing through rhododendron, magnolia, oak forest together breathe taking views of Mt. fishtail, Annapurna South, Himchuli and amazing mountain panorama views from Poon Hill (3210m) including entire Dhulagiri and Annapurna range series.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu/ Nepal
Welcome to Nepal - the flight from any destination to Kathmandu on a clear day you will have breathtaking panoramic aerial views of snow clad mountains as a first glimpse which will make you enthusiastic to go to trek and put the foot steps there as soon as possible. Up on arrival representative meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Now you are allow to rest for a while, be refreshed, sort out the official formalities of your trek, introduce guide and other members of the trip as a pre departure meeting discuss about the trip preparation.   

Day 2: Introducing Nepal by sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley
Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour signifying mix of cultural heritage both Hindu and Buddhism and allow you to visit Nepal’s most popular sites among travelers which are main historical, cultural and religious monuments of country. The valley was three tiny kingdoms during the medieval period ruled by Malla Dynasty Kings who had built up most of the Durbar Square where temples, museums, courtyards and squares reveal the best of traditional art, crafts and architecture. Your day sightseeing tour makes you to visit famous monkey temple (Swayambhunath Stupa), Hindu shrine Pashupatinath temple and Boudhanath. Rest of two sites Patan and Bhaktapur cities you may visit after the trek both are also very popular for traditional art, crafts and architecture.

Day 03: Drive from Katmandu to Pokhara approximately (7-8 hrs.) by bus or fly to Pokhara 30 min by STOL flight and transfer to hotel for overnight. Overland journey to Pokhara or flight both are very different interesting. Bus journey to there allow you to experience country side wonders over look and flight aerial mountain panorama. The bus journey also short stops for breakfast and lunch on the way and arrivers Pokhara 2-3 PM. Evening enjoy dinner outside restaurant at lakeside and visit around town. Pokhara is Nepal’s second tourist hub from where most of the Annapurna region trekkers stop before and after the trip.

Day 04: After breakfast early morning transfer to trailhead Nayapul (1070m) and  trek up to Tikhedhunga (1540m). The route follow Nayapul village down town over crossing of small stream bridge then via bank of Modi Khola (river) and makes cross at Birethanti bridge and continue with gentle climb up passing through hill terrace hamlets and lush forests via bank of Bhurungdi Khola. By the noon lunch stop will be on the way at tea house and late noon arrive at the final destination and overnight at Teahouse Lodge.

Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani(2750m) –  Respectively as previous day after breakfast the trek begins  first climb up with many steps up to Ulleri (1900m). Ulleri village mostly settled ex-Gurkha army families and mostly they are Magar and Gurung casts. The village reflects very cultural livelihood of mid hill region and as well it is another largest settlement of around. You can reach there after steep climb up then route continue climbing another half an hour for the lunch break spot is called Banthanti (2300m). Ghorepani is one of the most significant place of around as well busy junction because of popular view point Poon Hill.

Day 06: Early morning climb up Poon Hill (3210m) for spectacular view of Himalayas and sun rise, going to Poon Hill in the morning is about 45 min steep climb up and chilly cold. Poon Hill surrounding area is mostly covered by rhododendron trees which are blooms in the spring season abundantly in different colors. The unforgettable panorama views from there offer far west of Mt. Dhaulagiri range to entire Annapurna range and after descent down to teahouse, have a breakfast and trek to Tadapani (2600m), way to Tadapani first up for half an hour then ridge walking up Deurali then descents down to Banthanti lunch spot and again climb to the final destination over night.

Day 07: Trek to Jhinu Danda (1780m Hot Spring) –  Tadapani has two different route one goes Ghandruk direct and another way to Chhomrong via Annapuna Base Camp  before Chhomrong one trail follows down to the Hot Spring- Jhinu, arrive there by noon have lunch and go for Hot Spring bath. Way to Jhinu Danda you will be passing first lush rhododendron forest then descent via hill terrace field up to river bank further gentle climb up via hill terrace up and down up to final destination. The Hot Spring lies 25 min down of Jhinu on the bank oh Modi Khola inside dense forest and it is also less crowded natural spring spot.  

Day 08: Trek to Ghandruk (1940m) – Ghanruk is largest settlement of Gurung ethnical group also known as famous Gurkha village, visit this village and enjoy local cultural activities. The village is located west to the Modi Khola on top of the hill terrace. The main attraction of the village is its unique culture and spectacular mountain views of Annapurna South, Himchuli and Mt. Fish tail. The way from Hot spring first follows down to the river and gentle climb up to via hill terrace field and jungle up to Ghandruk.


Day 09: Trek to Pothana Deurali (2100m) – Next day morning after breakfast continue trek, the route descents down again to the Modi Khola then up ward to the another village Landruk the  route flows another village via Tolka  then an hour and half climb up again via Bheri Kharha jungle route up to Deurali. Walking through this route also offers you amazing sceneries as well breathtaking views of Annapurna Himalayas.

Day 10: Trek to Phedi (1130m) - same as previous day trekking begins after breakfast, route from Deurali continue passing through first dense sandal wood forest down and reach to the beautiful Gurkha village Dhampus, stop for lunch at Dhampus(1650), enjoy breathtaking views of around and descent down to the trekking ending point, drive back to Pokhara and transfer to hotel.

Day 11: Next day drive from Pokhara to Katmandu approximately (7-8 hrs.) by bus or fly to Kathmandu 30 min by STOL flight as you wish to have in your package, transfer to hotel, late noon shopping souvenirs around market and typical Nepali dinner party with culture show.

Day 12: Transfer to airport for International departure or if you wish to have onward programs- wildlife safari tour, whitewater rafting/ kayaking, paragliding, sightseeing or visiting main tourist attraction of around please let us know we are happy to organize as you wish.
